Day 424 ~ #16 of My 30 Days of Truth

My 30 Days of Truth challenge   I will admit that I changed one question and changed a few curse words... other than that the challenge is intact. 

Day 16:  Something or someone you definitely could live without...

Again... this one is easy peazy lemon squeezy!

Bullies, racism, people who feel they are entitled and bad drivers.

I think that pretty much covers it.  Don't you?

I really do not think I need to elaborate on this one.  Do you? wink, wink.

Okay... I will say this... people who practice being a bully and those born into racism ... well there's something wrong here.  

More times than not, bullies and racists themselves have been treated the same way all their lives... and sadly to say ... this is all they know.  Or it could have been a life changing event.  Does this excuse them?  No.  But it does help understand the reason they are the way they are.

It's hard to say at what point in their lives, if any, they could have been saved and turned around.

With people that feel entitled... well that is what they witnessed.  They witnessed their elders treating those around them like that.  Granted it is not as abusive as being bullied or taught racism... but it can be construed that way.

I do want to add this... just because some people were born into this ugliness... well, it does not necessarily mean that those qualities are in their hearts.  There are the few that have love in their hearts and do not continue the cycle.  They behave quite the opposite.

Finally... bad drivers.  Well?  Either, learn the laws wherever you plan to drive, take lessons, get a driver or just stay home.  Please.  Also I would like to add...  PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT TEXT AND DRIVE ... and if you must drink... DESIGNATE A DRIVER.  Please.

Enough said.  wink, wink.

Day 05 : Something you hope to do in your life.

Day 06 : Something you hope you never have to do. 

Day 07 : Someone who has made your life worth living for.

Day 08 : Someone who made your life hell, or treated you horribly.

Day 09 : Someone you didn't want to let go, but just drifted.

Day 10 : Someone you need to let go, or wish you didn’t know.

Day 11 : Something people seem to compliment you the most on.

Day 12 : Something you never get compliments on.

Day 13 : A band or artist that has gotten you through some tough days. (write a letter.)

Day 14 : Write a letter to a hero that has let you down.

Day 15 : Something or someone you couldn’t live without, because you've tried living without it.

Day 16 : Someone or something you definitely could live without.

Day 17 : A book you’ve read that changed your views on something.
Day 18 : Your views on gay marriage.
Day 19 : What do you think of religion?  Or what do you think of politics?
Day 20 : Your views on drugs and alcohol.
Day 21 : (scenario) Your best friend is in a car accident and you two got into a fight an hour before. What do you do?
Day 22 : Something you wish you hadn’t done in your life.
Day 23 : Something you wish you had done in your life.
Day 24 : Make a playlist to someone, and explain why you chose all the songs. (Just post the titles and artists and letter)
Day 25 : The reason you believe you’re still alive today.
Day 26 : Have you ever thought about giving up on life? If so, when and why?
Day 27 : What’s the best thing going for you right now?
Day 28 : Name a decision you made that caused a chain of events that would not have happened if it wasn't for that decision.
Day 29 : Something you hope to change about yourself. And why.
Day 30 : A letter to yourself, tell yourself EVERYTHING you love about yourself

Day 406 ~ Free Driver Evaluations!

For some reason I am having trouble with tonight's post.

Oh... It's not that I don't have anything to say... I have plenty to say and that in itself just so happens to be my problem.

Problem is... so much has gone on the last few days that my head is spinning. 

The going ons... well... being that "it" involves "others"... well... because my feelings hit so close to home {for "others"} that I am not really at liberty to discuss them on such an open forum.  You know.. for all the world to know.  wink, wink.  

I could always say that it is happening to a "friend"... but we all would know that it is happening to me.  {Can't help but laugh at that thought!}

Anyways... One thing I have noticed about me, since my I am second 22 Day Challenge, is that I am really putting an effort forward in practicing my faith.  

Couldn't help myself!  hehehe!!

For example... today, while driving... my "driver evaluation" kicked in... meaning that in my opinion there were some drivers on the road today that need to take a driver's training course- not a refresher course, but the full blown course!  

After all, who drives 40mph in the fast lane?  I mean really!  Get in the slow lane... better yet... GET OFF THE FREEWAY (PERIOD).  

I found myself calling the "speeders" idiots in my head... I mean do they not know what "SLOWER TRAFFIC KEEP RIGHT" means? ... Then funny thing... as I found my temper heating up I started saying Love thy neighbor over and over again.  

Before I knew it, Calley was repeating what I was saying but was a little more thorough with the Bible quote than I was.  "Love your neighbor as yourself." Calley said.  Boy I really have to watch what I "vent" while I am driving.

I could not help not only being proud of Calley, but myself too.  {Big smile}  Before I knew it the ugly thoughts about the other drivers on the road were not only out of my head, but out of my heart.

One of the teachers of the law came and heard them debating. Noticing that Jesus had given them a good answer, he asked him, “Of all the commandments, which is the most important?”

²⁹ “The most important one,” answered Jesus, “is this: ‘Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. ³⁰ Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ ³¹ The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.”  ~Mark 12:28-31
