Day 439 ~ 30 Days of Truth... An Afterthought

My 30 Days of Truth challenge   I will admit that I changed one question and changed a few curse words... other than that the challenge is intact.

30 Days of Truth ~ My Afterthoughts...

This challenge has been a great experience for me.

This challenge has made me look at myself and think about my life in a new light.

This challenge has given the validation that I am on the right path in my life.

This challenge has made me see that even with all that has happened in my life... the good... the bad... and the ugly... it has made me the loving and caring person who I am.

This challenge has made me realize that with all my life's trials and tribulations... I would not change a thing... not a single thing!

After all... I would not be who I am.

I highly recommend this challenge to everyone.

With God's grace.
"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  ~Jeremiah 29:11

Day 438 ~ #30... of My 30 Days of Truth...

My 30 Days of Truth challenge   I will admit that I changed one question and changed a few curse words... other than that the challenge is intact.

Day 30: A letter to yourself... tell yourself everything you love about yourself...

Dear Self...
Wow! Where to start?...
We've been through so much...  we've seen so much... sharing so much along the way.
I am so proud of you for hanging in there time after time, and for never looking the other way.
I am so proud of your inner strength, as I am proud of your weaknesses.  I am proud of your constant desire to help others as well.
I am proud of how you've faced adversary, worked your way around obstacles and how you've fought through all the tribulations in your life... I am even proud of how you have picked yourself up after every negative situation that was thrown at you... and never being afraid of admitting your faults.
Most importantly I am so proud for your sincere desire to better yourself each day... your desire to be the person your children and husband would always be proud of... as well as your desire to always do the right thing.
Keep up the great work... never taking your eyes off the prize.  {and} whatever you do... don't ever forget about the big picture.
With much love...
Your self.

With God's grace.

Day 437 ~ #29 of My 30 Days of Truth...

My 30 Days of Truth challenge   I will admit that I changed one question and changed a few curse words... other than that the challenge is intact.

Day 29: Something you hope to change about yourself, and why...

For the past 437 days my focus has been on bettering myself, my life, as well as the quality of life for my family.

After all as my father-in-law quotes...
A happy wife is a happy life.
Not to say that I am a horrible person, because I am not... however I have allowed my life's trials and tribulations, my past, and all the horrible things that have been done to me by none the less "mean" people, affect my {quality of} life.  It made me a very bitter, grouchy person.

437 days ago I set out on a journey that was to be a year long... and has inadvertently blossomed into my continued growth, which in turn has kept me blogging.

I am a work in progress and accept that.  I now also accept the things that have happened to me, and have forgiven many as well.

I feel that I am on the right road.

Sure, I understand that going through one of life's changes, {peri-}menopause, has had an adverse affect on my and I will have grouchy moments.  But the fact is that I am aware of it and am working on it.  Which includes some apologizing on my behalf for uncontrollable outbursts of grouchyness.  LOL!

The important thing here is that I am aware of it and am working on myself...

Bottom line.. I wouldn't change a thing.  Everything that I have gone through... all that I have seen... all that I have experienced... has made me who I am.  {and} I wouldn't change a single thing!

With God's grace.

Day 436 ~ #28 of My 30 Days of Truth...

My 30 Days of Truth challenge   I will admit that I changed one question and changed a few curse words... other than that the challenge is intact.

Day 28: Name a decision that was made that caused a chain of events that would not have happened if it wasn't for that decision?...

This is a total head scratcher!

I mean really.  All day I found myself... well... dumbfounded.

{and} now, I couldn't help but stare at today's topic even some more...

...by George I think I've finally got it... as if a light had been switched on... and so on...

It is my opinion that ALL decisions made lead to a chain of events... all of them.  Isn't that what living is all about?  Without chain of events there wouldn't be a life living... there just wouldn't be life.  Really, think about it... it's true.

For example, the decision to turn right on any street... this decision to turn right has led to events that otherwise would not have otherwise happen if your turn would have been a left one, including who crosses your path.

When I was seventeen years old, I had decided one day that I would never second guess myself in anything I do...   I told myself...
self... decisions that YOU make in your life will be made because that is what YOU wanted to do... whether it was to decide what to do, what to wear or a person YOU thought YOU could believe in... YOU made the choice to partake in that situation... so whatever the decision SELF, YOU have to live with the consequences.
Regardless if you decide on a purchase, or a choice to do something that others were against or dating an idiot... I made that choice because that is what I wanted to do and NO ONE was going to talk me out of it... and therefore... I must live with it... like it or not.  wink, wink

SO I am "good" with everything.  It is what it is and I have made my bed and must lay in it.  Good or bad.  etc... wink, wink..

Today, I still agree with my seventeen year old self and stand by my decision(s), then and now... and... good or bad.

As we say... all's good.  wink, wink.  No worries.

With God's grace.
So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. ~1 Corinthians 10:31 (NIV)

Day 435 ~ #27 of My 30 Days of Truth...

My 30 Days of Truth challenge   I will admit that I changed one question and changed a few curse words... other than that the challenge is intact.

Day 27: What's the best thing going for you right now?...

I would have to say that the best thing I have going for me right now is ...

my family and my growing involvement in our church and community.

Seems like the more I do for my family, the more involved I get in church, the more at peace I feel.

I don't know what it is about doing for others... maybe its the feeling of gratitude from them... or the smiles on their faces when someone does something for them...  whatever it is it is making me feel AWESOOMMMMEE!!

For people that have known me for years, well, they are probably seeing a huge change in me... especially the part about being involved in church, going to church and my growing love for God.  Maybe they are even calling me a Jesus freak.  {and} That's okay with me.

I don't mean that in a snotty or snooty way... but it really is okay with me.  All I know is that I am a child of God and he loves me, forgives me, and accepts me for all my faults without scrutiny.

Besides it is such a great feeling being a part of a family that works together, hangs out together, cares for the community together and worships together.

With God's will.
So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.  ~Galatians 6:10
