Day 126 ~ One Chance At Life

If you thought yesterday was a day for quotes presenting themselves... well you haven't heard anything yet.  

I really can't believe it! ... and find myself compelled to share this experience with you mostly because of the positive feelings I am being presented with..

If I was asked for three quotes that would help any person in most situations, I would most definitely share these with you!  The three following quotes presented themselves at a most opportune time...  seems as if the moment my "happy" monitor starts to dim, positive words come my way and re-energize me!!   ...

Today I AM FINALLY moving forward.  I know what I want and I am going for it. Now, more than ever, I understand ... I believe with all of my core that I have one chance of making this right... and I can not waste any more time... I have so much to do!    I am so excited and can not wait to see all my dreams come to life!!  

My goal... which will assist in making all my other goals come true... 

to do better today than I did yesterday... and whatever I don't finish today... I can do better tomorrow!

Day 57 ~ Never Good Bye... Always So Long!

Such a bitter sweet day!


Soaking in as much as we could, including family and friends... and still there wasn't enough hours in the day or days in the week for that matter!! 


Caught myself even getting cranky a couple of times... and as quick as that happened... a happy face took over.


I will take all these feelings with me when we leave tomorrow and turn them into 100% good old fashioned MOTIVATION!!

Until then... I will turn in and get a good night's sleep.  Tomorrow will roll around before we know it, and then another sleuth of so longs!!


And just in case you didn't catch my affirmation/quote last night... I thought it was also befitting of my day today!

Make every day count.  Appreciate every moment and take from it everything that you possibly can, for you may never be able to experience it again.

Day 56 ~ Don't Wish Away Time... Enjoy It!

I have come to the conclusion that I hate how we have to anticipate for days on end for great things we are waiting to happen... i.e. a wedding, vacation, or even a special date... and I hate it even more that when that moment finally comes, before you know it... in a blink of an eye... it's over!

Granted we still have thirty-six hours left in Pointe Dume... in Los Angeles for that matter... in which we will savor every minute left.  We will soak in every sun ray, breath as much ocean air as we can and truly enjoy all of our family and friends... but before you know it ... that dreaded moment will be here and we will have to head back home to reality.

Funny thing, time...  It can be your friend for the most part, then as quick as you came to enjoy it... WHAM-O! The rug gets pulled right out from under you as it all of a sudden sneaks up on you... and the fun is all over!

So, with all that said... instead of complaining that my time here is almost over...  I will savor each moment I do have left here with Dean and Calley, sharing it with family and friends... soaking in as much as their love as possible!! to take back with me!

Be strong enough to at least try to make your life better.

Be confident enough that you won't settle for a compromise just to get by.

Laugh at your mistakes and praise yourself for learning from them
