Day 390 ~ I Am Second Challenge Day 12 of 22

This is Day 12 of my challenge... {and} my twelfth video...

... Laura Klock... holds the world land speed motorcycling record (YES you got that right!)... Laura is married to a well respected man [he helps direct a custom motorcycle shop in South Dakota]... not only that BUT their two daughters... they are also world record motorcyclists!!

As Laura shares her story, you'll see that her life wasn't always so happy and successful ...  however... now she is second!

Laura Klock: I am Second

I can not tell you how moved I was after having watched her film.  It was rather haunting... and  quite unnerving hearing how similar her story was to mine, especially during a period of my life {back in the 90s}.

At this present time I find it very difficult to comment on Laura's life.  I do eventually want to share (in detail} about my feelings on this film.

We are Second when we put Jesus First. Seconds are bold to lift up Jesus and tell others. Are you ready to become a stronger Second?

I challenge YOU to take the I Am Second [22] Day Challenge... Can you spare maybe fifteen minutes in a day?
Then Peter came to Jesus and asked, “Lord, how many times shall I forgive my brother or sister who sins against me? Up to seven times?”  Jesus answered, “I tell you, not seven times, but seventy-seven times.  ~Matthew 18:21-22 (NIV)
I AM SECOND.

[here's to you finding your... ]

Peace...

... for a, l & c.  You are my sunshine(s).

Wonderful reminder, to just sit down with the Lord and give him some of your time! Amen!

if a situation hits too close sometimes taking a moment is best--I'm glad you're enjoyng this challenge.

It's wonderful when you can truly connect to someone, even if it's a stranger. You think you're the only one, and then suddenly, you realize how "normal" you are. :)

I agree with Pamela. When your emotions are raw, it's wise to explore and understand before sharing. I've read the book -- and I understand (at least as much as I can not being you) why this one hit close. Prayers for healing and peace -- keep going, Carla!
