Day 413 ~ #6 of My 30 Days of Truth...

My 30 Days of Truth challenge   I will admit that I changed one question and changed a few curse words... other than that the challenge is intact.

Day 6 : Something you hope you never have to do in {your life.}

In light of recent events in Aurora, Colorado [http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/20/us/colorado-theater-shooting/index.html?iid=article_sidebar] last Friday morning in the wee hours, where 12 were killed and more than 58 injured at a midnight screening of Batman...

I hope that I never EVER have to say good bye to one of my children, or a loved one for that matter, before their time.

I would hate to have my life changed from one moment to the next, as all of the families of all the lives lost {so horribly on an innocent outing} have.

My heart goes out to all affected by this heinous act... the families who have suffered a loss... as well as those left scarred physically and/or psychologically.

May God help you all heal.
Then they cried to the Lord in their trouble, and he saved them from their distress. 20He sent out his word and healed them; he rescued them from the grave. 21Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.  ~Psalm 107:19-21 (NIV)
I hope I never have to see a child of mine suffer.

what's next? ...
Day 01 : Something you hate about yourself.
Day 02 : Something you love about yourself.
Day 03 : Something you have to forgive yourself for.

What a horrible turnout for what could've been a great evening for so many. I too hope I never have to see my child suffer.

Such a horrific tragedy! I cannot even imagine having to say goodbye to one of your own children. It's quite honestly my biggest fear. My thoughts and prayers go out to all families that were affected by this!

I think I might join you on this challenge on The Stiletto Files. It might be kind of fun. Let me know if I should start from Day 1 or follow along with you! Might be eye opening!

My friend just lost her 15 year old son to cancer. I hope I never have to bury one of my daughters but if I do I know His grace will be sufficient for me.

I can't agree more. My absolute worst nightmare.

Oh amen to that, Carla! I hope and pray I never have to face my worst nightmare which would be saying goodbye to one of my children before they've lived a very long and full life.

What a tragedy. I am right there with you. As a teacher, I have lost far too many of my students over the years. I have remained friends with one mother. I never want to go through what she went through and continues to go through six years later.
